I'm already working, how do I get started?
If you’re hoping to start an apprenticeship at your current place of work, speaking to the AAT team is a great place to start. They can offer you advice on how to get started, so you have all the information you need to present to your employer. We also have an Employer team who can support your employer throughout the process.
Once your employer is on board, the next step is to enrol with an AAT Approved training provider. They’ll work together with your employer to provide your training and can also help them through the funding process.
The AAT team can help you and your employer decide which level is right for you. Your employer can contact the AAT team on employers@aat.org.uk for more information.
“An apprenticeship is a great way to start your career in finance. Yes, it means you avoid the debt of going to university, but more importantly you gain training, a qualification and job experience. And in most cases, like mine, you are kept on at the company. Which means, once you’ve completed your apprenticeship you have a full-time job ahead of you.”
Charmaine, with AAT since 2018
