Assistant Accountant apprenticeship v1.2
The AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting qualification is a mandatory element of this apprenticeship. You’ll master complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and how to manage tax processes.
Depending on your finance knowledge and skills, you could also study our Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping to make sure you’ve got the basics covered.
The Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is made up of four mandatory units:
- Business Awareness
- Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements
- Management Accounting Techniques
- Tax Processed for Business
You’ll complete assessments for each of these units, as well as an End Point Assessment where you’ll demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you’ve learned throughout your apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with the required skills to undertake the role of an Assistant Accountant.
